Ferries to the islands
Ferries to French Island and Phillip Island leave from Stony Point, a short drive from the museum.
Stony Point, a few minutes from Crib Point, is the departure point for the passenger ferries across Western Port. Western Port Ferries run a catamaran service from the Stony Point pier to French Island and to Phillip Island.
Stony Point is about an hour from Melbourne, by car or by train. The pier is also popular for fishing, and there are boat ramps, public toilets and a car park nearby. Swimming and diving are not allowed from the pier.
